Registration & Participation Agreement

These Terms form a binding agreement between Unrivaled Baseball Network (UBN) and the parent or legal guardian registering a player.

By registering, you agree to all terms below.

1. Eligibility

Must be registered by a parent/legal guardian (18+)
All information must be accurate
Players must meet age and division requirements
Misrepresentation may result in removal without refund

2. Account & Communications

By registering, you agree to receive:

Event updates
Schedule changes
Payment confirmations
Emergency notifications

These are required communications.

3. Payment & No Refund Policy

All fees are non-refundable. This applies to injuries, schedule conflicts, weather, or withdrawal. The event may offer credits or rescheduling at its discretion.

4. Assumption of Risk

Participation involves inherent risks, including:

Physical injury
Equipment contact
Weather exposure

You accept all risks and release UBN, USSSA, and event staff from liability.

5. Medical Authorization

You authorize:

Basic first aid
Emergency contact notification
Emergency medical care (at your expense)

6. Code of Conduct

All participants must:

Show respect and sportsmanship
Follow rules and staff direction
Avoid unsafe or disruptive behavior

Violations may result in removal without refund.

7. Photo & Media Release

By registering, you grant Unrivaled Baseball Network (UBN), USSSA, and their designees a perpetual, royalty-free right to use photos, video, and likenesses for:

Marketing
Social media
Event promotion
Historical and recap content

If you wish to opt out, you must notify us in writing before the event.

8. Privacy

Your information is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

All branding, materials, and content are owned by UBN and may not be used without permission.

10. Equipment & Property

Players must bring proper equipment. UBN is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

11. Event Changes

We may modify schedules due to:

Weather
Safety
Operational needs

12. Removal

UBN may remove any participant for violations of these Terms.

13. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for disruptions outside our control (weather, emergencies, etc.).

14. Limitation of Liability

Liability is limited to the amount paid for registration.

15. Indemnification

You agree to cover damages caused by violations of these Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.

17. Updates

We may update these Terms. Continued participation means acceptance.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms represent the full agreement between you and UBN.
